The Perfectionist Book Club

$150.00

For six weeks, we’ll be reading The Perfectionist’s Guide to Losing Control by Katherine Morgan Schafler—a thoughtful, refreshing look at perfectionism that moves beyond the usual advice to simply “let it go.”

This book helps us understand that perfectionism isn’t automatically a flaw. The real challenge is learning how to work with it instead of allowing it to control our choices, relationships, and sense of self-worth.

It is the perfect follow-up to Burnout. After exploring how chronic stress and the pressure to keep doing it all leave us depleted, we’ll take the next step: examining the perfectionism, overfunctioning, and impossible expectations that can keep the burnout cycle going.

Together, we’ll explore how to pursue meaningful goals without sacrificing our peace, how to loosen our grip without giving up what matters to us, and how to build a healthier relationship with ambition, control, and enoughness.

This is a social skills book club—not therapy or group therapy. It is a welcoming space for women to read, connect, participate in meaningful conversations, and practice building relationships in a supportive social setting.
