Maybe you constantly feel like you’re letting people down no matter how hard you try. Your brain feels all over the place, simple tasks feel harder than they “should” be, and you are exhausted from being so critical of yourself. You replay conversations, overthink your relationships, struggle to communicate what you’re feeling, or wonder why things that seem easy for everyone else feel so difficult for you. Some clients come in carrying years of feeling too emotional, too sensitive, misunderstood, or like they are somehow always getting it wrong.
I work with teens and adults who are tired of masking, people pleasing, shutting down, overthinking, or feeling stuck in cycles they cannot seem to break. I also have a deep understanding of how ADHD and autism can impact relationships, communication, emotional regulation, and connection. So many people spend years criticizing themselves for the way their brain works. I help you learn how to understand yourself with more compassion.
As someone who lives with ADHD myself, I know what it feels like to fight your own brain some days. I bring both personal understanding and professional experience into the therapy room to help clients feel supported, understood, and less alone.
Therapy with me feels human, honest, and connected. I use traditional talk therapy alongside sandtray therapy, a creative and hands on way to process emotions and experiences that can be difficult to put into words. Clients often tell me my wicked sense of humor helps the heavy feel lighter.
